The
province of British Columbia in Canada issues 91 invitations in its latest tech
pilot draw.
Together
with the latest draw, the province has now invited 2.353 immigrant candidates
for nomination.
The
last draw was held on the April 21 under the British Columbia Provincial
Nominee Program’s (BCPNP) tech pilot category. Foreign workers having job
offers from BC employers operating in the province’s technology industry are
invited for a provincial nomination through weekly draws.
Candidates
invited in the last draw were from skilled worker and international graduate subcategories
under the skills immigration and express entry BC streams of BCPNP.
In
order to be selected by the BC PNP, candidates have to create a profile on its
point-based system called skills immigration registration (SIRS). On SIRS each
candidate are awarded points according to their factors including level of
education, work experience and having a BC employment offer.
Those
received an invitation from the province have only 30 days to complete their application
on BC PNP SIRS system. After completion, candidate will be nominated by the
province. Foreign workers who are nominated by any province can apply for
permanent residence application to the federal governmet.
