Immigration Refugees
and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) help line support is available again.
All questions by
phone can be directed to Canada’s immigration department.
IRCC’s phone
operations have been suspended since March due to coronavirus outbreak
throughout Canada.
From now on IRCC is
again accepting calls but at a reduced capacity. Phone lines will be open from Monday
to Friday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The new phone
system has been put in place to support agents working remotely. According to
media release technical issues may arise due to this new phone help line set
up.
Other than calling IRCC,
online enquiries can be submitted 24 hours per day through IRCC’s webform as
well.
